What's accessible and how it was tested

My commitment

An accessible website lets people with disabilities, and anyone who browses differently, use it as easily as everyone else: read it, find their way around, fill in forms and get in touch. I see accessibility as part of my service and invest in it out of a commitment to equality and dignity. This statement explains what has already been made accessible, what isn't perfect yet, and how you can get accessible service from me in any case.

Standard and level

The site was made accessible under regulation 35 of Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 Part 1, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0), at level AA.

What has been made accessible

Structure and navigation. Each page declares its language and reading direction, so screen readers read it correctly. Every page starts with a "Skip to main content" link, and the page regions are marked: header, navigation, main content and footer. Each page has one main heading, headings follow a logical order, and every page has a unique title in the browser tab.

Keyboard and focus. You can use the whole site with a keyboard only, including opening the menu on mobile, without getting stuck in any element. Every element that receives focus is clearly marked: an outline around buttons and links, and a bold line under the active form field.

Motion and animation. Every page in the new design has a "Pause motion and animations" button that stops all movement on the page. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site appears without animations. Nothing on the site flashes, and no sound plays on its own.

Images and buttons. Images that carry information have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers. Icon-only buttons, such as WhatsApp, the menu and social networks, have names that screen readers announce, and links that open in a new tab say so.

Forms. Every field has a label and required fields are marked. If a required field is left empty, a message appears and focus moves to that field. Each form shows a short note about how your details are used.

Contrast and display. Text and button color contrast has been measured and meets the requirement. The site adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and you can zoom up to 200% without content being cut off or lost.

The accessibility menu

In the corner of the screen there is an accessibility menu by UserWay, with extra options such as larger text, highlighted links, contrast modes and a readable font. The menu is an additional aid only. The site itself is built to be accessible without it, and you don't need to turn it on to use the site.

Compatibility and testing

The site was tested on October 26 and 27, 2026 in Chrome and Edge on Windows, and in iPhone, iPad and Android phone views. Testing included automated checks with axe on every page type, full keyboard-only navigation, contrast measurement, zooming up to 200%, and a review of the information the site passes to assistive technologies: names, roles and structure. The site works with current versions of the common browsers.

Known limitations and alternatives

Despite these efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. These are the limitations I know of:

Screen reader testing. The site has not yet been tested with a real screen reader (NVDA or VoiceOver) or in Safari on an Apple device. That's my next step.

Language. Most of the site is in Hebrew. The English section includes the home page, this statement, the privacy policy and the thank-you page.

Older pages. A few older Hebrew pages, such as the updates sign-up page, have not moved to the new design yet and have no Pause motion button. They have no animations, and they will move to the new design gradually.

Internal pages. Pages that are not part of the public site and are not linked from it, such as a client questionnaire and campaign pages, are not yet fully accessible. If you received a link to one of them and have trouble with it, get in touch and I'll fill in the details with you by email, WhatsApp or a call.

Third-party content. The accessibility menu (UserWay), the cookie banner (CookieYes) and external sites I link to, such as social networks, WhatsApp and client sites in the portfolio, are not fully under my control and may not be fully accessible.

Accessible service and other ways to reach me

Anything you can do on the site, you can also do another way. If a form is hard to use, send me your details by email or WhatsApp, or ask me to call you, and I'll fill in the inquiry for you. Consultations and project meetings take place by video or phone, and you can ask in advance for any adjustment that helps, such as messaging instead of a call, a written summary or extra time. Documents I send, such as proposals, are available in an accessible format on request.

Physical accessibility

Not applicable. Digital Brain is a digital business that works online only, with no office and no place where clients are received. All service is provided through the website, by email, on WhatsApp and over video calls.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you run into a problem or have a suggestion, I'd love to hear about it. To help me fix it quickly, tell me which page it was on, what you were trying to do, and which device, browser or assistive technology you used. You can reach me at meirav@digitalbrain.co.il or on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab), and if you ask, I'll call you back. I'll reply within 7 business days at most and fix the issue as soon as possible.
